Water Erosion and Deposition

Runoff
is the water that dosen´t soak or evaporate but instead of that flows across in the Earth´s surface.

occurs when water flows in the same path and crates a groove.

Sheet Erosion
 occurs when water that is flowing as sheet picks up and carries away sediments.

is the are land form which a stream or river collects runoff.

 to become a broad arc.

Groundwater
is the water that soaks into the ground collected by the pores and empty spaces.

Permeable
 material were water can pass trougth it.


Impermeable
 are the materials were the water can´t pass.

Aquifer
 a layer of permeable rock that lets water moves freely.


Water Table
 is the upper surface of this zone.

forms when the water table meets Earth´s surface; often found on hillsides and used as a freswater source.


Geyser
is a hot spring that erupts periodically, shooting water and stream into the air.

is the deposits of sediments that are parallel to the shorelines
